In part two of DZI: The Voice‘s “Best Music of 2014 (So Far)” series, we take a look at the Hip Hop mixtapes that had rap fans tweeting lyrics and packing concert venues. CyHi the Prynce, G.O.O.D. Music’s best kept secret, dropped his latest project back in February. The aptly titled Black Hystori Project coincided with the month dedicated to celebrating achievements in Black History. With song titles like “Huey”, “Mandela”, and “Coretta”, the Atlanta native compares historic African-Americans of yesteryear to the “black heroes” of today’s youth.
